President
Dana is a mom of twin boys, one of whom was diagnosed with profound bilateral hearing loss at birth. She is involved with IN Hands & Voices as the Chair of the Fundraising Committee and as an ASTra advocate. Dana volunteers in her free time to help raise awareness and support for families of children with hearing loss.

Executive Director
Ever since Julie’s son was diagnosed as D/HH and an IN H&V Parent Guide provided her family support, Julie has known that she wished to support other families of D/HH children. Julie is also a software engineer, and is bringing her tech knowledge to the Executive Director position.
Treasurer
Michele is a working Mom of 2 boys. Her younger son was born with bilateral progressive hearing loss. She serves as a volunteer on the Board of Directors for IN Hands & Voices because she wants to help families of Deaf or Hard of Hearing children find the resources they need to help their child reach their full potential.
Secretary
Morgan is a mom of 1 boy and a Cochlear Implant Audiologist. She loves advocating for the needs of children who are deaf and hard of hearing, and has a deep passion for helping families feel empowered throughout their child’s journey. Morgan became a board member for IN Hands & Voices in hopes of supporting families, advocating and empowering children who are deaf and hard of hearing, and facilitating access to resources and education.

Abi is a pediatric nurse, married to Jordan, and Mama to her 4 children. One of their 9 year-old twin boys was diagnosed at age 3.5 with bilateral hearing loss. The combination of her personal and professional experience fuels her passion to empower and advocate for fellow parents and families of children with special needs.
Mariana was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. She is the mother of two children, her youngest was born profoundly deaf. She serves as the Guide By Your Side Program Coordinator and the ASTra Program Coordinator in Indiana. Her biggest passion is to ensure that every child with hearing loss in Indiana has access to and receives qualified services to meet their needs and achieve successful outcomes. She has a deep passion for supporting families through the different stages of the educational process that often require the parents to become skilled advocates.
Karen is mom to four girls, one of whom was detected at birth with sensorineural unilateral moderate hearing loss. After being helped by a Hands and Voices parent guide, Karen wanted to continue to stay involved so that she would know about the best resources and services for her daughter, and to share with others what she has learned from her journey.
Lindsey is a mom of two and a Pediatric Audiologist. She loves working with her patients and helping families navigate the needs of their child who is deaf or hard of hearing. By being a board member for Hands & Voices she hopes to better facilitate options and resources to her families and bridge the gap between the professionals who work with these wonderful kids.
Susan is a mother of two children, and a speech-language pathologist. She is passionate about building capacity in parents so deaf and hard of hearing children can achieve their full potential.
Carlina is Deaf herself, and has a 2 year old son who is also Deaf. She loves soaking in nature, cooking, do-it-yourself/restoration projects, and getting to know people.
Hillary is a mom of two boys and one girl. Her daughter has been diagnosed with a profound to severe bilateral hearing loss. She is a Special Education Teacher and has a passion for teaching her students self-advocacy and life skills. As a family they enjoy hiking and camping.
Zaneta is a wife and mother of three, the youngest of which has hearing loss. As Zaneta became more involved with finding services for her later-diagnosed DHH son (diagnosed at age 3), she realized she wanted to help other parents who were struggling to navigate the overwhelming information confronting them. Zaneta's motivation and drive for knowledge has made her a fierce advocate for D/HH children in Northern Indiana.
Emeritus Board Members
Lisa is the mother of 3. Her youngest is deaf-plus. Lisa loves spending time in nature with her family (including her son’s service dog) and riding her horse.
